Staff Appraiser
Immediate need for a talented Staff Appraiser with experience in the Mortgage Industry. This is a 03+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Irving, TX. Please review the job description below.
Key Responsibilities and Technology Experience:
- Current Residential Appraiser license with a minimum of 3 years of residential experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of appraisal concepts.
- Ability to grasp new technology and computer applications quickly.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable working at a fast pace.
- Ability to work overtime (OT) when needed.
- Must be familiar with Client's Collateral Underwriter system.
- Three years experience with Origination loans and Servicing transactions, such as Short Sales and REO Properties.
- Certified Appraisal license (an exception to the license can be made if the person has the appropriate experience).
- Appraisal review experience.
- National review experience.
- Secondary market or portfolio evaluation experience.
