Warehouse Operations Support

Provide support for effective and efficient warehouse operations.

Principal Duties

1. Pick stock for shipping by material and batch number using the Warehouse Management System (SAP), ensuring accuracy and checking for cosmetic defects.
2. Load and unload trailers and accurately count product.
3. Operate various types of material-handling equipment (e.g., forklifts).
4. Receive materials from outside vendors and customer returns accurately.
5. Coordinate with trucking companies for pickups and delivery scheduling as needed.
6. Operate shipping equipment (e.g., stretch wrapper, scales, FedEx system).
7. Label or relabel materials as necessary.
8. Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts as required.
9. Maintain good housekeeping practices within the warehouse.
10. Complete all assigned LMS courses.
11. Adhere to all aspects of Responsible Care.

Additional Duties

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties and support team members as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math, including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to use measuring devices and scales.
• Willingness to complete training and obtain forklift certification.

Experience

• Individuals with the required qualifications can typically learn job procedures and product storage locations within approximately six weeks.

Responsibility for Equipment or Processes

• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting issues is essential to prevent equipment damage.
• Shipping equipment is expected to be used and maintained properly under normal conditions.

Initiative and Judgment

• Ability to identify products accurately and assess container quality.
• Sound judgment is required to safely operate material-handling equipment.

Physical Demands

• Depending on the warehouse location, duties may include lifting up to 45 pounds up to 40% of the time, maneuvering product weighing up to 500 pounds, or performing light lifting tasks.

Responsibility for Materials or Product

• Attention to detail is critical to identify damaged or defective containers, helping to prevent product loss, replacement costs, and potential customer dissatisfaction.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $33,600.00 and $49,280.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
