Position Summary

In this position, the Forklift Operator will handle a variety of warehouse and pipe yard tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling order, packing and shipping, and organizing/retrieving materials in the pipe yard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to organization standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe work environment
• Perform inbound logistics tasks such as verifying and receiving inbound materials
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• One to two years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
• One to two years of experience operating a sit-down and stand-up forklift
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.

Employment & Compensation

• Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
• Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Monday-Friday | OT available
