PartTime Drum Teacher Reeder Music Academy

About the Position Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional drum instructor to teach part-time at Reeder Music Academy in Danville, CA. The instructor will teach in person. The ability to teach more instruments is a plus but not required. Availability and Location Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Our current drum studio availability is for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Qualifications Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Compensation and Benefits Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $35–$40/hour. A 401(k) program with employer matching is available to all employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefits options are available for all part‑ and full‑time employees at Ensemble.
