STAINLESS PIPING SPECIALISTS is looking for a CAM Programmer to join our Engineering team and program our Mazak and BLM LT-Free pipe/tube laser equipment.

Have you run NC or CNC machines and want to take the next step? Some of our best CAM programmers come from the machine shop floor. If you understand how NC machines operate and enjoy solving problems, we are willing to train the right motivated candidate in CAM programming.

Responsibilities:

• Create programs for Mazak and BLM LT-Free laser equipment.
• Nest parts efficiently to reduce material waste.
• Review drawings and ensure programs match current revisions.
• Troubleshoot programming and machine issues.
• Work with laser operators to improve cutting conditions and cycle times.
• Provide setup information and paperwork for machine operators.

Software We Use:

• SolidWorks with nesting software extension.
• ARTCUT programming software.

Experience with these programs is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• NC/CNC machine operating or CAM programming experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing/shop experience preferred.
• CAD experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
