Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective delivery of services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Prepare and assist with imaging procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, and neuro interventions.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and responses accurately in the EMR system.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and technologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and manage emergency situations as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license required at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in procedural departments, critical care, emergency, or ICU settings.
• Proven experience with moderate sedation.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required.
• Candidates preferred with interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab experience.
