Our client is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support daily accounting functions and special projects while gaining a working understanding of all aspects of the business. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for general ledger activities and serving as a backup to the Controller.


As Corporate Accountant, you will work independently and collaboratively with the accounting team to support core accounting processes, contribute to process improvements, and provide operational support across departments.



What You'll Do:

• Learn and support all aspects of the existing accounting processes
• Perform general ledger accounting tasks and assist with special projects
• Provide support to other departments by understanding business operations and needs
• Identify and suggest improvements to accounting policies and procedures
• Take on varying tasks and projects as assigned, adapting to changing priorities
• Ask questions to build understanding and assist with training and development of others

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or comparable experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience with general ledger exposure
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excel proficiency is a plus
