Estimator

Job Summary: Come join our team! Focus Manufacturing Services is seeking a full-time Estimator to join our team in Ogden, Utah. Estimators evaluate customer drawings and specifications and generate estimates/quotes. Estimators work directly with sales, production, and the customer to develop quotes. Responsibilities: Create bid proposals for new and existing customers Work with purchasing to collect material costs Managing outside vendor relations, pricing, and lead times Work with production to establish fabrication and machining methods and timing Regularly review job costings to establish accuracy of estimates and estimating process Solicit feedback from customers and production to improve estimating accuracy Manage/follow projects through the manufacturing process Resolve customer inquiries and concerns Work closely with other departments to facilitate customer quoting and production processes Qualifications: Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and machining **REQUIRED** Proficient at reading and interpreting GD&T Experience estimating AS9100D projects preferred Previous experience in estimating in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience collaborating and managing outside processes such as coatings, heat treatment, anodizing and plating, etc. Experience working with SolidWorks Pre-employment drug testing is required.
