Automotive Body Technician - Baton Rouge

EVALUATION HIRE

$27-30/hr

Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is hiring Auto Body Technicians for a local car dealership in East Baton Rouge. Ideal candidates will be hard workers looking for a career in the automotive industry with a customer satisfaction-driven mindset.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Automotive Body Technicians:

Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Repair, replace, and align body panels, doors, fenders, bumpers, and related components.
Use frame straightening and measuring equipment to restore vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
Complete repairs according to OEM standards and company quality guidelines.
Work closely with estimators, painters, and production staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician REQUIRED.
Knowledge of collision repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and work orders.
I-CAR and/or ASE certifications are a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have own hand and powers needed for doing body work.
