We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support invoicing and billing operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Bedford, New Hampshire. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with billing systems, handling data entry, and ensuring financial records remain accurate and up to date. The successful candidate will help maintain smooth day-to-day billing activities while providing administrative support to the broader accounting function.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely manner while following established billing procedures.

• Update billing details in internal systems and keep account information accurate and current.

• Examine billing documents carefully to confirm that charges, codes, and supporting information are complete.

• Investigate routine invoice questions and help correct straightforward billing inconsistencies.

• Organize billing files and retain backup documentation so records are easy to access and audit.

• Provide support with data entry tasks, basic reporting, and additional accounting-related duties as assigned.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and basic spreadsheet work.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.

• Ability to manage records in an organized manner and maintain supporting documentation.

• Effective problem-solving skills for addressing basic billing discrepancies.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with accounting and administrative teams.
