AVP iOS Software Development Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree and at least 4 years of software engineering experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• We need hands-on mobile application development experience with object-oriented design and development patterns for iOS.
• We value a strong system-level understanding of the products and platforms you have worked on.
• Experience with library or framework distribution is preferred.
• Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments is preferred.
• We look for a background in writing unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with advanced SwiftUI concepts is preferred.
• Knowledge of JSON-, REST-, and XML-based web services is desirable.

• We lead a development team through all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle.
• We translate business feature requests into technical details and implementation guidance.
• We oversee iOS software developers and provide expert code review across multiple build teams.
• We introduce new technologies and support developers as they migrate to modern tooling and platforms.
• We provide technical leadership for iOS applications built with SwiftUI, Swift, and UIKit.
• We partner with software engineers, UX designers, product managers, architects, and customer application experts to build strong mobile experiences.
• We mentor and influence iOS developers, helping shape code architecture and feature design.
• We ensure solutions align with our architecture, security, and technology standards.
• We help define and maintain our future-state technology architecture and roadmap.
• We participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• We drive code quality through development, testing, and QA collaboration.
• We contribute to root cause analysis, incident reporting, and issue resolution.
• We analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify causes, and implement fixes.
• We identify opportunities to improve efficiency and system performance.
• We work with third-party vendors to build software or integrate their solutions into our products.
• We provide periodic 24x7 on-call support throughout the year.
• We contribute AI use cases to improve developer workflows.
