Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday – Friday | 45 Hours/Week
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes
Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hour
Note: This job doesn't offer any benefits.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide front- and back-office support, assist with patient care and clinical procedures, and support daily clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship.
Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
EKG and POC testing experience.
Front- and back-office Medical Assistant experience.
Strong patient communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
BLS or CPR certification required. Candidates without BLS/CPR may be considered for a pending start with approval.
Responsibilities
Greet, check in, and room patients.
Obtain and document patient vital signs.
Perform blood draws, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.
Administer vaccines as directed.
Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.
Schedule appointments and answer phones.
Provide front- and back-office clinical support.
Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.
Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support smooth clinic operations.
