Our client is seeking an experienced Help Desk Analyst to provide frontline support to users in a healthcare-focused environment. The role centers on password resets, access management, login support, and guiding users toward self-service solutions. The ideal candidate will provide customer service, perform technical troubleshooting, and assist users in high-volume support situations. The assignment supports a new tool go-live and focuses on Blue e portal users.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $25.00 to $30.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Provide frontline help desk telephone support for EDI batch and real-time trading partners and Blue e secure web portal users.

• Investigate user needs and issues, identify sources of problems, and deliver suitable resolutions.

• Educate users on procedures and protocols for electronic claim, eligibility, claim status, authorization, and remittance processes.

• Serve as first-level resolution to document and track electronic transaction and connectivity issues.

• Research complex application failures, determine severity and escalation, and report findings to management and IT.

• Train Blue e users on portal functionality and administrators on access security protocols.

• Provide input and assist with revisions to provider materials and user guides.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of service requests, statuses, and resolutions in the inquiry tracking database.

• Proactively monitor multiple EDI production systems to review compliance, error rates, and claim balancing.

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, HIPAA, and BCBSA regulations and recommend process modifications when necessary.

• Handle high-volume calls related to login issues and password resets, redirect users to self-service options, and reinforce desired user behaviors.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a related help desk, technical support, call center, or troubleshooting role. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of related experience.

• Demonstrated customer service skills in high-volume environments.

• Experience with access management, password resets, and login support.

• Ability to research and resolve application and connectivity issues with clear documentation.

• Healthcare or EDI environment exposure preferred; experience with Blue e portal is beneficial.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of related experience.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
