Montana Reclaimed Lumber Co. is looking to fill a unique full-time, long-term position at Montana Reclaimed Lumber North in Four Corners, Montana.

Our North location is a retail outlet that serves the public. Lumber at this facility is sold by the board, bundle, or truckload. We also produce custom mantels, accent walls, live-edge slabs, and other specialty products.

We are looking to add a hardworking, motivated team member to our busy and growing lumber yard. With a small crew of four, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can assist with a variety of tasks. This position focuses primarily on yard labor and material handling, with occasional customer assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• General lumber yard labor including sorting, stacking, scaling, and preparing reclaimed lumber
• Removing nails and identifying defects in lumber
• Yard organization, inventory management, cleaning, and general maintenance
• Loading and unloading lumber (forklift training provided)
• Assisting customers with locating materials and basic questions as needed
• Helping prepare and price lumber, mantels, and specialty products
• Order pulling and processing

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and ability to stay organized
• Basic math and measuring skills (board footage, square footage, lineal footage)
• Ability to work well with coworkers and interact professionally with customers
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to operate equipment such as a telehandler forklift, chainsaw, and circular saw (training provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Experience in construction, woodworking, or lumberyard work is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone dependable who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a small team.
