We’re looking for an experienced RN - Mother Baby (Post Partum) to join a dedicated women’s health team in Tacoma, WA. Job Details

• Position: RN - Mother Baby (Post Partum)
• Location: Tacoma
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2100 to $2300

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Monitor maternal and newborn conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate families on newborn care, breastfeeding, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Support bonding and family-centered care practices
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the postpartum stay

Requirements

• Active RN License in Washington
• Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby or Post Partum nursing experience
• BLS and NRP Certifications required
• Strong maternal and newborn assessment skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
