$2692.80/week - Job Summary: The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. They support accurate diagnosis and ensure patient safety while providing compassionate care across various patient settings. Responsibilities: Execute diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality. Enforce radiation safety protocols compliant with state regulations to protect patients and staff. Assist in patient preparation, education, and positioning to optimize scan results. Collaborate with medical staff to support clinical evaluations and procedures. Adhere to hospital policies and participate in ongoing learning and technology updates. Qualifications: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School with high school diploma. Hold current New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Possess valid BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED certification. Entry-level candidates with limited experience may apply; skill set determines level assignment. Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and patient care procedures.
