Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Endocrinology

Schedule: Part-Time | Monday-Friday | Flexible Hours | No Call | No Weekends

Vital HealthCare Solutions is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with endocrinology experience to provide care in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities .

This part-time position offers schedule flexibility, clinical autonomy, and a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality care to geriatric patients.

Position Summary

The NP or PA will provide comprehensive endocrine care, including diabetes management, thyroid management, and medication management, for patients in long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage diabetes mellitus (Type 1 and Type 2)
Prescribe and adjust insulin and non-insulin diabetic medications
Manage and interpret Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems
Provide thyroid disorder management (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism)
Perform patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in long-term care facilities
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania NP or PA license
Experience in endocrinology, diabetes management, or internal medicine
Knowledge of insulin therapy, CGM devices, and thyroid medications
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
