Meat Cutter/Deli Associate - Full-Time

Description

We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated team player to join our Meat Department/Deli crew to cut meat and related products in the variety, size, quality, and trim according to company standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
*Cut and trim all merchandise as directed by company standards.
*Weigh, price, package, and wrap products accurately for display in meat case.
*Operate heavy and sharp equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
*Maintain adequately filled cases and proper product rotation.
*Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of work area and meat cases.
*Provide excellent customer service in a prompt and friendly manner.
*Take special customer orders in person and over the phone.
*Observe policies and procedures established for the department.
*Observe State Health Department regulations.
*Assume additional duties as required.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to work in an area that is frequently exposed to temperatures of refrigerated coolers and freezers.
Be able to occasionally exert or lift up to 100 pounds
Possess excellent customer service skills
