Medical Technologist - ASCPIn the role of a Medical Technologist, your primary responsibility will encompass the execution of intricate laboratory procedures and analyses. These efforts are pivotal in generating precise and dependable outcomes that play a crucial role in patient diagnosis and subsequent treatment decisions.Pay Rate: $58,000-$80,000/year Shift: 10AM - 6PM M-FQualifications:American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalentBachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or relatedAssociate degree in Medical Technology or relatedResponsibilities:The Medical Laboratory Technologist will spend the bulk of their time testing blood and bodily fluids by using complex laboratory equipment to ascertain a wide variety of informationExamine specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasitesMeasure levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood to help ensure medications are at their most therapeutic levelsLook at the chemical content of the blood to determine deficiencies in nutrients or excesses of cholesterol or blood sugars
