Travel RN - TelemetryAmerican TravelerBelleville, Illinois, United StatesAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1$2,272.49/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a high-risk cardiology unit requiring 2 years of cardiac experience and an active IL RN licenseDetailsWork in high-risk cardiology telemetry unit in an acute care Magnet hospitalPatient population includes post-CABG (after ICU step-down), cardiac cath, and TAVR patientsPatient ratio of 1:5-6Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PMRequired to work every other weekendNo on-call responsibilitiesFloating required across all inpatient units at both campuses within scopeUses EPIC charting systemRequirementsActive IL RN license required, in hand at time of considerationCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum 2 years of RN experience required, with strong cardiac backgroundExperience with cardiac drip management (no titration) requiredSheath pull experience requiredCentral line management experience requiredEPIC charting experience requiredAdditional InformationProvide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response as neededManage patients requiring IV therapy/phlebotomy, wound care, and isolation precautions/PPESupport respiratory care needs including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, and oxygen administrationCare for pre/post cardiac surgery patientsNavy scrub color requiredNo parking costs at this facilityFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyMaximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignmentLocal candidates within a 75-mile radius are not acceptedFacial hair must allow for proper respirator fit testing or must be shaved
