Weekend Charge Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Weekend Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team at Avir at Pebble Creek in El Paso, TX. As a Weekend Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care on weekends, providing exceptional nursing services, and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:
Provide advanced nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions and needs
Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care
Manage patient flow, beds, and staffing to ensure efficient and timely patient throughput
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Demonstrate expertise in emergency situations, such as code calls and rapid response activations
