Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care / Inpatient Rehab Location: Oro Valley, AZ Facility: Oro Valley Hospital Position: Physical Therapist (PT) Contract: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week Bill Rate: $85/hr Start: ASAP EMR: Cerner – Experience Required Position Overview Are you an experienced Physical Therapist looking for your next travel opportunity in Arizona? Join the team at Oro Valley Hospital and make a meaningful impact by helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, regain function, and improve their overall quality of life As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions designed to promote safe movement, recovery, and long-term independence Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function. Help patients reduce pain and regain independence in daily activities. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, and strategies for continued recovery. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Float to Acute Care as needed. Schedule Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 40 hours/week Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends Weekend scheduling may be Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, based on facility needs. Required Qualifications Current, active Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) License BLS Certification Cerner EMR experience – Required Recent experience in: Inpatient Rehabilitation Recent experience in: Skilled Nursing (SNU) Recent experience in: Acute Care Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
