Maxime’s is a private member’s club by entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City. We are seeking a talented Runner to join our world-class hospitality brigade. Reporting to our Restaurant Manager, the Runner will work closely with the Servers/Captains and other front-of-house team members to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure the highest possible level of member satisfaction, elevating Maxime’s brand and service standards at all times. What we’re looking for Proven success as a Runner within fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings. Fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attending to all members’ needs in a courteous and professional manner. To be fully conversant with the table lay‑up and mise‑en‑place prior to, during and after service. To actively assist the Servers and Server Assistants in the food and beverage service. Thrives in high‑end environments, consistently upholding superior service standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Maintains a professional, upbeat demeanor and embraces a collaborative, team‑oriented approach. Ability to work a variable schedule, including early morning, nights, weekends and holidays per the needs of the business.
