About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in NICU or PICU required. Must have Children's Client experience within the last 3 years. License: Indiana State License required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP. PALS preferred. Must-Have: Must have experience in Labor & Delivery. Floating to Pediatric Acute Care is required. Description: Before submission, please provide written confirmation from the traveler that they are comfortable and aware of the every other weekend requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend is required. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP. PALS certification is preferred. Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA. Experience in NICU is required. Candidates must have experience in L&D, as they will primarily work in this area. Floating between NICU and some Pediatric Acute Care is required. Candidates must be prepared to work in various settings within the hospital. Approval must be sought for time off requests exceeding five days. Candidates are required to work two out of three major holidays. Background checks will be conducted as part of the submission process. All travelers must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Candidates must have the required certifications as outlined in the job description. Please note the policy regarding consecutive contract and break periods. Experience in any related areas may be evaluated. Candidates are expected to have a solid skill set relevant to the role. References from two supervisors are required prior to submission. Candidates must ensure their licenses are valid and in hand before the start of the contract. Prepared candidates will enhance the quality of care provided to patients.
