Surgical Technologist Certified - 142287 Wesley Chapel:Wesley Chapel Hospital | Clinical | Full Time Description Position Description: Certified Surgical Technologist Responsibilities The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. Prepares equipment, instruments, supplies, operating room, and patients to ensure sterile field. Coordinates preparation or disposal of specimens, etc. Assists with inventory of sterile supplies. May assist in patient transport. Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm On Call: Yes Requirements Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program OR completion of a military or hospital-based training program with 5 years acute care Surgical Tech experience.
