Position Overview
Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular Surgeon to join its surgical team. The role involves providing comprehensive vascular care, including advanced endovascular procedures, open surgical interventions, and inpatient/outpatient services. The position also includes teaching residents and fellows, participating in scholarly activity, and engaging in clinical research and trials.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO (or foreign equivalent)
- Eligibility for or license to practice in New York
Medical Facilities & Services
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
- Completion of an accredited vascular residency or fellowship
- Experience in clinical research and academic productivity
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success in clinical research and trials
- Experience supervising medical students, residents, or fellows
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality vascular care
