Instructional Coach

Kingman Unified School District #20 invites you to apply for the position of Instructional Coach for the 2025-26 school year.

Serve as part of the school leadership team and be responsible for the management, analysis, and dissemination of a variety of school-wide data. Work directly with site administration in planning and implementing school-wide strategies designed to support student-centered learning practices.

Essential Functions

1. Respond to all internal and external customers, as it relates to position, in a prompt, efficient, friendly, and patient manner.
2. Assist teachers with the implementation of Arizona State Standards for English Language Arts.
3. Assist and support the implementation of Beyond Textbooks and all components with its philosophy.
4. Collect and monitor student achievement data using formative, summative, benchmarks, and state-determined assessments.
5. Ensure assessment data is communicated to all stakeholders regularly.
6. Meet and plan with teachers, staff and administration on data findings regularly (weekly, monthly, quarterly) as defined by Academic Services.
7. Assist with disaggregating and analyzing benchmark, progress monitors and other district formatives to help guide the instructional decisions of teachers.
8. Monitor and report the effectiveness and progress of instruction and student performance to Academic Services.
9. Responsible for components of ongoing professional development to support goals and initiatives.
10. Provide additional support needed to implement various instruction and practices.
11. Regularly monitor assessments and intervention administration for integrity and fidelity.
12. Assist with data collection, procedures, scheduling, and generally collaborate to increase student achievement.
13. Attend and actively participate in all meetings in a professional manner.
14. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all policies, regulations and rules.
15. Perform related duties as assigned in a safe and prudent manner.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job primarily operates within a school environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

1. Regularly required to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange information with faculty, students, and visitors.
2. Regularly required to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess details as needed to complete job functions.
3. Regularly required to remain stationary, type, and focus on a computer screen for long periods of time.
4. Ability to move, transport, position, put, install, and remove items up to 10 pounds as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position contracted for a minimum of 151 days. Incumbent will primarily work Monday through Thursday. This position is eligible for medical benefits. The employee may need to work extended hours to meet deadlines.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in education
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a teacher

Required Certifications/Licenses

Valid Arizona teaching certificate, appropriate to the position. This could include standard elementary or secondary teaching certification or an administrator certificate, such as a Supervisor, Prekindergarten-12 Certificate.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
