Senior Technical Business Analyst

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

The Senior Technical Business Analyst serves as a versatile resource capable of supporting any project across the organization. This role requires a high-level driver who proactively manages their workload rather than waiting for direction. The successful candidate identifies team capacity and confirms that requirements are captured with extreme precision.

Core Responsibilities

• Act as a driven project lead who peters for progress and maintains momentum without external prompting
• Capture requirements with high attention to detail, providing the development team with a flawless roadmap
• Test new features built by developers to verify they align with the original requirements and quality standards
• Maintain exceptionally strong documentation within Jira
• Identify capacity gaps and resource needs across various teams to maintain balanced workloads
• Apply active listening skills to translate stakeholder needs into actionable technical specifications

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Proven experience using Jira for requirement tracking and documentation
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or a strong background in testing feature functionality
• Proficiency in creating process flows and detailed functional requirements
• Ability to handle complex transitions smoothly between different project types

• Someone who anticipates needs and takes initiative
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on concise, impactful delivery rather than excessive talking
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools specifically for creating workflows or drafting requirements
• Evidence of practical application is ideal over simple certifications

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $85,000 and $100,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
