Seeking a part-time California Licensed Nurse Practitioner who can reliably commute to Oakland, CA, to provide medication abortion care via a telemedicine platform, including patient evaluations, prescriptions, and follow-up support, while working a flexible schedule that includes on-call shifts. Key responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations and determine eligibility for online medication abortion treatment through video or phone consultations Prescribe medications to patients and coordinate with pharmacies for delivery or pickup Respond to medical inquiries requiring further evaluation and guide nursing staff on referrals and additional prescriptions Required qualifications Active Board Certification and state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in California Medi-Cal credentialed with no restrictions on credentialing with other Medicaid plans Minimum of 1 year of experience providing abortion and reproductive healthcare Interest in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population Proficient in using online tools and technology for patient care and communication
