We're currently seeking a Biologics Coordinator to join our Chesapeake clinic. In this role, you'll play an important part in helping patients navigate their treatment journey while working alongside a team that values respect, integrity, accountability, and leadership. Best of all, you'll enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) with no nights or weekends, giving you the balance you deserve.

What you will do:

• Responsible for getting prior authorizations for over 30 different medications.
• Handle external biologic orders.
• Perform additional responsibilities including scheduling port replacements at the hospitals.
• Responsible for lab monitoring while patient is on treatment (managing lab recalls in EMR, facilitate getting lab orders to patients when necessary).
• Assist patient with enrollment to any patient assistance programs applicable for financial hardships related to treatment.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Previous medical office experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• One (1) year of prior authorization experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Prior insurance billing experience preferred.
• Prior pharmacy experience preferred.
