Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nephrology)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Nephrology-focused Medical Surgical floor
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7
• Perform IV starts and utilize telemetry monitoring as needed
• Utilize facility monitoring systems at an intermediate level (FM-Intermediate)
• Complete up to 8 hours of pre-start, non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — candidates without a license will not be considered; if licensure is pending, proof that the process is underway is required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one (1) year of recent Medical Surgical experience
• Proficiency in IV starts and FM-Intermediate monitoring
• Minimal time-off requests; any RTO must be disclosed at time of submission, particularly around holidays
• Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate; candidates residing within 31–50 miles may be accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
