Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control in Walton, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related protocols for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, document visitor and contractor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Support screening, vehicle access, and package or freight checkpoint procedures while maintaining accurate logs, clear communication, and professional interactions with site personnel and guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
