Production Supervisor

Position overview

The Production Supervisor will lead day-to-day production activities at our Oaks Corners, NY aggregate and HMA operation, providing frontline leadership to a team of hourly employees while driving safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement across the site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity goals.

• Coach, develop, and support frontline team members through clear communication and performance feedback.

• Monitor plant processes and resources to optimize production while minimizing downtime.

• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operational teams to address issues and drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills with a focus on operational excellence.

• Working knowledge of safety practices, production processes, and continuous improvement principles.

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with facility maintenance, including maintenance project implementation, or project coordination.

• Experience in aggregates, asphalt, mining, or construction materials is preferred. Similarly related heavy industrial manufacturing or production experience will also be considered

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a manufacturing or production facility with regular exposure to industrial equipment and processes.

• Requires routine walking, standing, climbing, and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

• Typical schedule is Mon - Fri, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with rare occasional flexibility needed to support operational needs outside normal hours.
