Licensed Veterinary Technician

Job Overview: Cactus Pet Hospital LLC is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our furry patients and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $22 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Our clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional care for animals while fostering a flexible, low-stress environment that prioritizes work-life balance. Our practice emphasizes flexible scheduling, ensuring that everyone has time for themselves, enjoy stress-free lunches, and leave on time at the end of the day. We are a paperless practice and utilize AI radiology/cytology, Companian Animal laser, Clarius portable ultrasound, HTVista, and many up to date technology. Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Monitor and record vital signs of patients Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans Maintain accurate medical records Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the hospital and equipment Requirements: Active license as a Veterinary Technician Preferred 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting Strong knowledge of animal care and handling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Cactus Pet Hospital LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
