Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine in a modern, well-equipped hospital supported by advanced technology and a collaborative team. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for dogs and cats while managing a varied general practice caseload. Responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, diagnostics, dentistry, routine and soft tissue surgery, client education, and developing treatment plans that support excellent patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced clinical team to deliver compassionate care while building lasting relationships with clients. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary medicine.
Practice Details
This small animal hospital provides comprehensive primary care services for dogs and cats in a modern clinical environment. The hospital is equipped with a dedicated dental suite, dental radiology, digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, electronic medical records, cold and therapeutic laser technology, ECG, hands-free radiology, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, and a dedicated surgical suite. Services include wellness and health examinations, allergy and itchy skin relief, anaesthesia, dental care, dentistry, dental X-rays, digital radiology, general surgery, routine surgery, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, spays and neuters, ultrasound, pain management, euthanasia services, and pharmacy services. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Team
The hospital is supported by a collaborative team of 3 full-time DVMs, 2 Credentialed Veterinary Technicians, and 2 Veterinary Assistants. The team values collaboration, mentorship, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional care while fostering strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
