Job Description

Service Repair Technician – Plumbing & Electrical

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Service Repair Technician to provide residential and commercial plumbing, electrical, and general repair services. Appliance-repair experience is a major plus. Candidates with garage-door installation and repair experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair common plumbing and electrical problems
Install, replace, and service hot-water heaters
Install and replace garbage disposals
Repair faucets, toilets, drains, pipes, fixtures, switches, outlets, lighting, and related systems
Troubleshoot service issues and recommend appropriate repairs
Perform preventive maintenance and general property repairs
Clearly explain repair needs and completed work to customers
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
Follow all safety requirements, building codes, and company procedures
Maintain a clean and professional work area

Preferred Additional Skills

Residential or commercial appliance repair
Garage-door installation, maintenance, and repair
HVAC, facilities maintenance, or general handyman experience

Qualifications

Proven plumbing and electrical service or maintenance experience
Must be able to install hot-water heaters and garbage disposals
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and complete assignments efficiently
Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
Plumbing, electrical, appliance-repair, or other trade certifications are preferred but not required

Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and the range of services the candidate can perform.
