As a Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of large, complex projects by assisting Project Managers and Superintendents through every stage of construction. You will play a key role in maintaining project quality, cost control, scheduling, documentation, and communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. You'll work as part of a larger project team, often on highly specialized, highprofile projects.

As a Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of large, complex projects by assisting Project Managers and Superintendents through every stage of construction. You will play a key role in maintaining project quality, cost control, scheduling, documentation, and communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. You'll work as part of a larger project team, often on highly specialized, highprofile projects.
This is an in-office role based in Baltimore, MD 5 days a week. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with pre-construction tasks, subcontractor procurement, pricing, and purchasing
- Supporting baseline and biweekly schedule updates
- Preparing scopes for subcontracts and purchase orders
- Managing submittals, RFIs, design changes, and change orders
- Tracking LEED documentation and participating in commissioning coordination
- Supporting BIM coordination on applicable projects
- Assisting with monthly billings, subcontractor invoice approval, and project closeout.
- Attending project meetings and recording minutes
- Contributing to quality control efforts and overall project organization
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred. An Associate degree in a related field is accepted.
- Ideally, 1-2+ years of industry exposure supporting projects over $10M.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project
- Experience with Primavera P6, project management software, or Sage Timberline is a plus.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problemsolving abilities
- $70,000-$92,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Mileage reimbursement for project travel
