Job Title Manager Coding (Medical) Analysis Job Details Job Level: Manager Workshift: 1st Shift (United States of America) Location and Schedule Hybrid: Requires 3 days per week in the office. Must be within a reasonable commute of one of our eligible offices. General business hours, Monday through Friday (Core hours: 8-5). Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Key Responsibilities Lead a team that audits, reviews, and codes medical records for reimbursement and compliance using ICD-9 and CPT codes. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and systems for proper coding and quality assurance. Manage workloads, training, and problem resolution. Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance. Develop and implement systems and processes to establish and maintain records for the operating unit. Manage projects designed to improve billing practices and increase revenues. Assist physicians and providers with questions and problems related to coding and billing. Plan, organize, and conduct individual and group provider in-service programs. Conduct quality control studies and audits and implement solutions. Train staff on coding, documentation and billing regulations. Participate in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and objectives. Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 5 years experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Preferred Qualifications Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS-P). Previous management/supervisory experience. BA/BS in Health Care or Business. Experience with the most current CMS Risk Adjustment Model. APAC Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC).
