Licensing Engineer II - Engineering Projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide regulatory and licensing support for engineering projects and station initiatives.
• Interface with internal teams, vendors, industry peers, and regulatory authorities like the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
• Advise management on nuclear safety, licensing, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Support licensing processes, including documentation, approvals, and regulatory submissions.
• Interpret and apply regulatory requirements, policies, and environmental standards.
• Represent the organization in industry workgroups, workshops, and regulatory meetings.
• Assist in environmental reviews, including field and onsite evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve licensing and environmental issues.
• Monitor updates in regulatory policies and standards and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Ensure all activities align with station processes and compliance frameworks.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on regulatory affairs

Skills:

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of nuclear regulatory frameworks, especially NRC and Department of Energy (DOE) requirements.
• Familiarity with licensing processes and regulatory compliance in nuclear or technical environments.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and review processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, codes, and industry standards.
• Experience with technical documentation and regulatory submissions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education/Experience:

• High School
