Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Fargo, ND

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-call rotation every 2–3 weekends and one night per week as part of a 4-person call team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the cardiac cath lab, including cardiac catheterization with intervention, device implants, peripheral vascular procedures, structural heart, stroke, and STEMI cases
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with established protocols
• Apply ACLS and BLS skills as required during procedures and emergent situations
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment including balloon pumps, IMPELLA, EKOS, Angiovac, FFR, and IVUS
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record and lab management systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Experience in a large hospital setting, Level 2 trauma designation or higher
• Active North Dakota RN license or compact state RN license (must be willing to obtain ND licensure)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior critical care experience in an ICU or Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with EPIC (One Chart), CUPID, and GE MAC LAB systems
