PATIENT AMBASSADOR (INTERN)

Job Summary As a Patient Ambassador, you will serve as the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for your unit. Your main responsibilities include successfully completing all assigned patient interviews and new admission visits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct new admission visits to all assigned units within the timeframe established by unit leadership. Demonstrate an aggressive hospitality (respect) orientation toward customers and clients. Support client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention. Promote client awareness of the Patient Experience Program. Assist in customizing programs to meet each account’s unique needs as required. Assist in developing and/or monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan and reporting to clients as needed. Assist in effective employee relations programs at unit site. Encourage employee creativity and innovation. Provide recognition when programs are implemented successfully. Complete housekeeping tasks when requested by customer or patients. Resolve housekeeping issues that do not meet standards and ensure timely follow‑up. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior customer service experience preferred. Strong knowledge of office procedures and contract administration. Ability to use working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives. Familiarity with fiscal and budgetary skills. Location & Schedule Novant Huntersville - 10030 Gilead Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. Intern schedule, Monday‑Friday, hours may vary. Additional details provided during interview. Compensation Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.
