Printer Support Technician

Location: Dallas, TX Pay Rate: $20.00$22.00/hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM Duration: 1-Year Contract Work Environment: Onsite Healthcare Facility

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Printer Support Technician to provide onsite technical support within a healthcare environment. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of printer and imaging equipment while ensuring timely and professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to onsite service requests, dispatches, and escalations in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, and install printer and imaging equipment.
• Perform Standard and Proactive Consumable Management (PCM) system updates.
• Maintain accurate asset tracking, reporting, billing, and system records.
• Manage inventory of hot-swap devices, printer supplies, and consumables to minimize customer downtime.
• Provide timely updates on service tickets and equipment status.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed service activities.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused support in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Entry-level experience with printers, hard-copy devices, imaging equipment, or related technical equipment preferred.
• Basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Familiarity with service ticketing or business systems such as ServiceNow and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and equipment-related issues.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
