Position Summary
The Digital Marketing & Sales Coordinator plays a key role in driving growth and ensuring an exceptional customer experience at our swim school. This position is responsible for designing and executing social media marketing (both organic and paid), local marketing strategies, managing community engagement, coordinating digital communications strategies, and directly communicating with new and prospective families to ensure satisfaction and retention.

The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and passionate about building lasting relationships with customers through both proactive outreach and responsive service.  Additionally, has experience with digital platforms including Canva, HubSpot or other email platform, and social media content creation and ad creation.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Outreach & Sales Support

• Proactively call prospective customers to provide information, answer questions, and convert leads into new enrollments.
• Personally follow up with new families after their first lesson to ensure a positive experience and address any concerns.
• Maintain a consistent schedule of outbound calls to build and nurture relationships with prospects and current customers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns via phone, school-specific text, and school-specific email.
• Support the General Manager with lead tracking, CRM data entry, and customer follow-up.

Marketing Coordination

• Execute local marketing campaigns (digital and print) to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
• Represent SafeSplash at local events, school fairs, and festivals to promote programs and build community partnerships.
• Assist in the management and content creation for school-specific social media to engage the community and promote seasonal programs and promotions.
• Gain knowledge in and utilize the school-specific marketing systems and coordinate the distribution of marketing materials.

Community Engagement

• Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and community partners.
• Seek out and coordinate partnership, sponsorship, and cross-promotional opportunities in the local area.

Administrative & Reporting

• Monitor and respond to the swim school’s specific email account in a timely and professional manner.
• Track and report on key performance indicators related to enrollment, outreach efforts, and campaign effectiveness.
• Maintain promotional calendars and ensure timely execution of all marketing and sales activities.
• Assist in creating and sending email and SMS communications to current and prospective customers.

Qualifications
-  1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or marketing, ideally in a service or child-focused environment.

- Comfortable making phone calls and engaging in proactive outreach to new and prospective customers.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.

- Familiarity with CRM or scheduling systems is a plus.

- Availability to work evenings and weekends for events and peak swim school hours.
