The primary purpose of this Security Operations Supervisor 2 position is to provide front-line supervision over security staff at the Oregon State Hospital, while working with management to provide tactical direction of the unit and coordinate operations with multiple internal and external partners. This position will work directly with the department's administration and management team to ensure OSH and department goals and objectives are accomplished. This position functions within the OSH Security Department to ensure the security of OSH facilities and the safety of patients, staff and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration.

Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience;

OR

One year of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, manage administrative functions, and adapt to shifting operational demands.

• This announcement is for one, full-time, permanent, management service Hospital Security Supervisor position (Classification: Security Operations Supervisor 2) based in Salem, Oregon.

• The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
