Job Description
Job Title: Pediatric Dietitian

Must-Have: Strong foundation in enteral nutrition and total parenteral nutrition


Description:
COVID vaccination required.
Religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider.
Daily case load ranges from 9 to 12 patients.
First-timers are accepted.
Weekend shifts required every third week, with a range of 0 to 3 shifts per contract.
On-call requirements include weekends and holidays.
Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.
Block schedule accommodations are possible.
Strong enteral nutrition and total parenteral nutrition skills are necessary.
Duties include assessments, reassessments, calorie counts, and TPN calculations (macro and micro).
The facility has a total of 554 staffed beds.
Charting system used is Cerner.
Facility type includes a Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, and Acute Care setting.
No local candidates within a 100-mile radius will be considered.
A six-month break is required for any travelers who have worked four consecutive assignments or reached their one-year mark.
All travelers are required to have personal transportation.
Compliance documents must be completed before starting.
RTO restrictions apply, and preferences for time off should be communicated early.
Pre-approval for holiday bundles is preferred.
Candidate must be ready to work on compliance requirements in the first weeks after signing.
Drug screens are required within 30 days of starting.
Modules are billable up to 4 hours, and any time beyond that is non-billable.
