Summary We are seeking an experienced dishwasher to join our talented team at Tchefuncte's. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation. Key Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment, including industrial dishwashers, sinks, and drying racks. Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in a timely manner. Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas. Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly. Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and restocking whenever needed. Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal. Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the kitchen manager promptly. Qualifications Prior experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds). What’s in it for you $13 - $15/hr (depending on experience).
