This job is located in Idaho We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Construction Manager to lead the installation, integration, commissioning, and turnover of ultra-pure water (UPW), deionized (DI), reverse osmosis (RO), and wastewater treatment/disposal systems within advanced high-tech and semiconductor facilities.

This role is responsible for full field execution of complex water and waste systems, ensuring safe, high-quality installation and commissioning in mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate has strong experience with process piping, water treatment systems, and cleanroom/controlled environment construction, with the ability to manage subcontractors, coordinate with engineering teams, and drive projects to successful completion on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field execution for installation, testing, and commissioning of UPW, DI, RO, and wastewater treatment and disposal systems
• Manage subcontractors, field crews, and vendors to ensure safe and efficient project execution
• Coordinate daily with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and operations teams
• Oversee project scheduling, sequencing, and manpower planning to maintain construction milestones
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, environmental regulations, and site-specific protocols
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and installation details
• Support BIM coordination efforts, including clash detection and field resolution of conflicts
• Coordinate integration of related systems including mechanical, electrical, and process utilities as required
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, OSHA, EPA, local authority requirements, and client standards)
• Lead field inspections, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and installation verification
• Support system startup, flushing, testing, validation, and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot field installation and system performance issues during construction and startup phases
• Maintain accurate documentation including RFIs, submittals, as-builts, test reports, and turnover packages
• Conduct regular site walks and enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Provide consistent project updates, progress reporting, and risk mitigation strategies to leadership

Qualifications

Experience & Education

• 5+ years of experience in water treatment, process piping, or industrial/semiconductor construction
• Experience with UPW, DI water, RO systems, or wastewater treatment systems required
• Cleanroom, semiconductor, data center, or mission-critical facility experience strongly preferred
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade background preferred

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of process piping systems and water treatment operations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-trade construction environments
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, field coordination, and subcontractor management
• Familiarity with OSHA construction safety standards and environmental compliance requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
