Assistant Merchant

POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Merchant I will be responsible for managing samples and assisting in phases of product selection for their designated brand/product category. The Assistant Merchant I will play a part in the product development process by working alongside the Merchant/Senior Merchant. The Assistant Merchant I will also be responsible for pulling reports and analyzing merchandising KPIs for both catalog and web. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Open, organize, and maintain all inbound samples Create, track and update sample management lists Set up sample items in advance of merchant meetings or on as needed basis Support the Merchandise Manager/Senior Merchandise Manager in all phases of product selection and development for both catalog and web Interact daily with cross‑functional teams to coordinate merchandising objectives and support collaboration Conduct competitive research by shopping catalog and retail competition to identify key items and trends Assist Merchandise Manager/Senior Merchandise Manager in the reporting of business results and Key Performance Indicators MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising or a related field 1-2 years of merchandising or product related experience required Ability to multi‑task, and flexible to changing priorities Strong communication and follow up skills required Detail‑oriented, strong organization and follow‑up skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must WHY JOIN FULLBEAUTY?
