Extension is seeking a Project Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Port Washington, WI !
Overview
A manufacturing organization is seeking a Project Engineer to support new and existing production equipment and process improvements. This role works cross-functionally with customers, plant teams, and leadership to deliver successful engineering and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate brings hands-on mechanical and electrical manufacturing experience, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design, improvement, and implementation of manufacturing equipment and production systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize mechanical and electrical systems in a production environment
- Collaborate with customers, plant personnel, and management on project execution
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical documentation
- Interpret technical specifications, reports, and regulatory requirements
- Perform technical calculations and support engineering analysis as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing (required)
- Project management experience in an industrial environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and AutoCAD
- Ability to interpret technical documents
Salary & Schedule
- Salary: Up to $100,000 (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Onsite – Port Washington, WI
- Benefits: Full benefits package provided
