Assistant / Associate Professor (MD) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Employment in this role may be contingent upon extramural funding and successful performance. The appointment may be terminated or reduced if such funding is not secured or ceases to be available. Position Summary: The Department of Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor Psychiatrist with strong interest in community psychiatry. The successful candidate will provide outpatient patient care in a culturally diverse setting within a multidisciplinary, multi‑specialty environment. The position is hybrid, combining telemedicine and in‑person visits, with a geriatric component in adult clinics. General Responsibilities Engage in teaching, scholarly, and clinical service in psychiatry and behavioral sciences. Participate in the department’s teaching programs. Provide patient care consistent with departmental needs and faculty interests. Perform administrative duties such as serving on institutional committees and assisting with the Psychiatry Residency Program and/or clerkships.
